We Believe

The children are our future

Children

At St. Joseph of Arimathea, we warmly welcome families with children and believe that young people are a vital part of both the present and future of the Church. We are committed to supporting parents in nurturing their children's faith and spiritual development.

Our religious education program is grounded in the Gospel values of Jesus Christ. We help our youngest members learn what it means to belong to a faith community that is welcoming, loving, and supportive.

The program encourages values such as compassion, empathy, and a sense of responsibility to work for justice in the world. Classes are held during the academic school year and are designed to meet children where they are in their journey of faith.

infants/Toddlers

We are a church family, and that includes our youngest members. We understand that infants and toddlers may sometimes get fussy or need to move around, and that is completely okay. We are simply glad that you and your family are here with us.

If you need to step out during the service or take a walk with your child around the church campus, please feel free to do so. We want parents and caregivers to feel comfortable and supported, not stressed. Your presence is a gift, and we are grateful to share this sacred time with you and your children.

Safety

All teachers are required to submit to a thorough background check. In addition no adults is ever permitted to be alone with a child. Parents are welcome to stay in the room as they wish and enjoy a cup of coffee or participate in our religious formation program along with their young ones.
