We look forward to welcoming you

Planning Your Visit

Visiting a church for the first time can feel a little uncertain. At St. Joseph of Arimathea, we’re ready to welcome you just as you are. Whether you are exploring faith, returning after time away, or looking for a new spiritual home, we are honored to have you with us.

Here is what you can expect when you visit:

Our worship is liturgical and follows the structure of the Mass, rooted in ancient Christian tradition and made alive in today’s world. We use inclusive language, welcome all to the table, and embrace the full diversity of God’s people. You’ll find a community that is warm, affirming, and joyfully engaged in worship.

Come As You Are

There’s no dress code. Some people come in jeans, others in more traditional Sunday attire. All are welcome.

Children Are Welcome

We welcome families with children and understand that little ones may get fussy or need to move around. That’s okay! If you need to take a break, feel free to walk around the church campus or step outside. we’re just glad you’re here.

Location and Parking

We are in residence at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 680 Racebrook Road in Orange, Connecticut. There is ample parking in the church lot, and the building has a stairs free entrance.

After the Mass

If it's the first Sunday of the month, please stay for coffee, snacks, and conversation. It’s a great way to meet others and get a feel for our community. If not, be sure to introduce yourself to the clergy and say hello. They always greet everyone as you depart.
